Mike Armstrong is a photographer based in North Lincolnshire, England.

Specialising in Portraits, Beauty & Fashion and Wedding, Mike has a candid and unobtrusive approach to his photography and coupled with his technical abilities, enables him to capture moments that are joyous, intimate and beautiful.

It is his desire to capture interaction and emotion in his images that has led him to enter the world of Portrait & Wedding photography, capturing beautiful compositions with an attention to the finest details throughout day.

Extensive experience in studios has helped Mike to master lighting, both natural and artificial as well as posing techniques to assist clients to look their best. With a preference to using natural light, Mike is able to bring you along to some of his favourite outdoor locations for a truly unique experience.

As 2015 comes to a close, Mike is now looking ahead to 2016 and is looking to further expanding his geographical presence across the UK. If you would like to work with Mike this year, please get in touch and he will be happy to discuss any requirements with you.

How do I book a shoot with you...?
Simple...! This website offers many ways to contact me directly, email, twitter, facebook etc. or more traditional methods like a phone..! Seriously, email is best for me as I get them almost instantly but any way you make contact, I'll get in touch with you if you leave me your details.!
How much does all this cost...?
Again, simple..."it depends"..haha. Portraits usually inccur a small cost and one or two images are included. More processed images are then paid for as required. Boudoir is slightly different..if you require a full on package of makeup and hair styling, then these people need paying up front. I again charge a small one off fee and then for each subsiquent image thereafter. Best bet is to contact me, explain what you want and we can come to some arrangement. I'll make sure we are all 100% clear of any cost long before we commit.
Do you work for free...?
Do you..? No, I'm afraid I have mouths to feed and no amount of "It will give you good exposure" will buy a Big Mac..! That said...if you are a model and have a good idea and I think it will benefit me, ask...seriously, worst I can say is "no"...even then I'll be very polite about it..!! So, althought TFP/CD is limited, its not out of the question.
Where are you based...?
In sunny North Lincolnshire, UK. I'm conveniently located between Hull, Grimsby, Scunthorpe & Doncaster, about 30 min from the East Coast mainline, and 45 min from Leeds. Nottingham and Derby are only a little further out. If we arrange a shoot, I may be able to arrange a pickup from the station.
OK, let's do this....erm...what do I need to bring...?
Enthuiasm....and a lot of it...!! If you come along and enjoy the shoot, I guarentee you we will get some great images. You really cannot fake a smile. I'll make sure you are comfortable, warm and have whatever you need. Really, think of this as a special occasion...you are going to get papmered and come away with some stunning shots...enjoy the experience.
